Process Technician (speciality chemical/ Jurong/ company bus)
Work Schedule
12-hour rotating shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and support various stages of manufacturing and production activities in accordance with established work procedures and safety requirements.
- Conduct material handling activities using industrial equipment where applicable.
- Support supervisors in identifying and resolving production, process, and quality-related issues.
- Perform batch processing activities in a partially manual work environment.
- Handle and move materials as required, including items weighing up to approximately 20kg.
- Participate in workplace safety and emergency preparedness programmes and take appropriate action during emergency situations.
Requirements
- NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Chemical Process Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in a manufacturing, Chemical process, or plant environment
- Knowledge of Distributed Control Systems ( DCS ) or Programmable Logic Controllers ( PLC )
- Forklift operating experience or certification
- Candidates without prior experience, training will be provided.
