Junior Procurement / Purchasing Assistant | Electrical

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive sourcing requests and product enquiries from the Sales team.
• Source products from local and overseas suppliers based on customer requirements.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations, pricing, lead times, MOQ, and product specifications.
• Compare suppliers and recommend the most suitable sourcing options.
• Liaise with suppliers to clarify technical specifications and product requirements.
• Identify alternative products or suppliers when required items are unavailable.
• Coordinate product samples, catalogues, specifications, and product information for customers.
• Support the Sales team by providing cost-effective sourcing solutions and quotation support.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely submission of quotations and information.
• Maintain accurate records of supplier databases, quotations, sourcing enquiries, and product details.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Ensure sourcing activities comply with company requirements and quality standards.
• Perform administrative and procurement-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in Supply Chain, Procurement, or related discipline.
• 1–2 years of procurement, purchasing, or sourcing experience.
• Experience or knowledge in electrical products or related industries.
