Cost Analyst | Bank | 6-month Contract

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Analyst to support a technology cost review and governance initiative. This role will focus on cost reconciliation, CAM (Cost Allocation Model) validation, charging accuracy, and monthly cost governance across technology spend. Job Responsibilities Analyze and reconcile monthly technology costs, identifying variances, anomalies, and key cost drivers. Review and validate CAM allocations to ensure costs are charged in line with approved methodologies. Validate invoices, POs, contracts, consumption reports, and approval documentation. Ensure costs are allocated to the correct cost centres, entities, and projects. Establish and manage a monthly cost review process, including reporting, action tracking, and governance controls. Produce management reports highlighting cost movements, CAM changes, risks, and outstanding actions. Job Requirements Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Information Systems, or a related discipline. At least 3 years of experience in Cost Management, Financial Control, FP&A, Performance Management, or Finance Operations Excellent reconciliation and analytical skills. Knowledge of cost allocation and chargeback methodologies (CAM). Advanced Excel skills; Power Query is advantageous. Attention to detail and ability to manage complex datasets.
