Who you’ll work with You will join Communications & Media Relations within APAC Corporate Affairs, a team that sup-ports business growth and corporate reputation through strategic communications, media en-gagement, stakeholder trust and employee engagement across the region. You will have a dedicated hiring manager who offers regular guidance and check-ins, and a buddy from the team to support you day to day. You will also work with colleagues across APAC affili-ates, cross-functional partners and our PR agency, so your ideas can move from draft to launch with clarity and pace.

Your tasks

Your impact begins here As our Communications & Media Relations Intern, you will help APAC Corporate Affairs turn me-dia data into insight and make internal communication more engaging. You will build working prototypes of AI-enabled media analysis tools, map how other pharma companies communicate prescription medication launches, and refresh channels that colleagues use every day. Your work will strengthen how Novo communicates across APAC affiliates, today.

What you’ll do

  • Over six months, you will deliver concrete outputs across media intelligence, internal communi-cations, corporate reputation and emerging digital channels.
  • Create one to two working prototypes of AI-enabled agents or platforms that automate me-dia data analysis and intelligence.
  • Map and analyse how other pharma companies communicate prescription medication launches, and strengthen the weekly and quarterly APAC media reports using the Meltwater platform.
  • Build and launch an engaging APAC communications SharePoint page, redesign the APAC quarterly newsletter and optimise the integrated communications calendar.
  • Support employee engagement events, including the APAC kickoff meeting, and the execu-tion of the APAC KOI Summit.
  • Support the activation of the new Novo brand across functions and the development of cor-porate content with our PR agency.
  • Research executive speaking opportunities and platforms for leadership profiling, and sup-port Generative AI Engine Optimisation (GEO) initiatives.

Requirements

What you’ll bring We are looking for a motivated student who is:

  • Currently studying Mass Communications, Journalism Studies, Marketing Communications, Marketing, English Language Studies, Business Administration or Management, or a related field.
  • Strong in written English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software and tools.
  • Positive and proactive, with a genuine interest in learning about new technologies.
  • Able to work well under short timelines.

Useful, but not essential

  • Experience using media analysis software, such as Meltwater, Truescope or Public Relay.

What we offer

What you can expect here You will take on real projects with clear deliverables, and you will see your work launched and used across APAC. Along the way, you will learn how communications and media relations work in a pharma and healthcare setting, how commercial launches are communicated, how media data is measured and analysed, and how emerging approaches such as GEO are changing the field. You will be trusted to take ownership, share your ideas and build new skills alongside colleagues who invest in your growth. The internship runs full-time (5 days a week) from January to June 2027.

  • Opportunity to learn and contribute to impactful projects.
  • For Post-Grad, monthly internship stipend of $2,000
  • For Under-Grad, monthly internship stipend of $1,600

How to apply

Start now Your impact begins today. If you are ready to turn media insight and fresh ideas into progress across APAC, apply for the Communications & Media Relations Intern role by 30 November 2026. Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
