Chemical Process Technician (Shift/ Company pickup)

Shift Technician (12hr, Chemicals process, DCS/ PLC, Company Bus, Penjuru, 3K)

Work Schedule

12-hour rotating shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and support various stages of manufacturing and production activities in accordance with established work procedures and safety requirements.
• Conduct material handling activities using industrial equipment where applicable.
• Support supervisors in identifying and resolving production, process, and quality-related issues.
• Perform batch processing activities in a partially manual work environment.
• Handle and move materials as required, including items weighing up to approximately 20kg.
• Participate in workplace safety and emergency preparedness programmes and take appropriate action during emergency situations.

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Chemical Process Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in a manufacturing, process, or plant environment
• Knowledge of Distributed Control Systems ( DCS ) or Programmable Logic Controllers ( PLC )
• Forklift operating experience or certification
• Candidates without prior experience, training will be provided.
