Logistics Manager

Location: Bárcenas, Villa Nueva Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Modality: Office and plant

Job Objective

Follow up on and coordinate the importation of raw materials and supplies in all their modalities (air, land, and sea), as well as the exportation of finished products to customers in Central America and the Caribbean, ensuring compliance with laws, customs regulations, and internal company policies.

Functions and Responsibilities

• Follow up, in conjunction with the customs agent, on intercompany transit importations and those from external suppliers.
• Coordinate and follow up on the exportation of finished products to assigned countries in CA and the Caribbean.
• Coordinate local deliveries with customers and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with transit times and deliveries for international purchases.
• Follow up on and control inventory under Decreto 29-89.
• Stay updated on customs laws, regulations, and procedures.
• Provide complete and timely information to the shipping department for each dispatch.
• Verify and follow up on deliveries made to avoid additional costs.
• Maintain a complete digital archive of importations and exportations for audits.
• Prepare and send weekly reports on transit and shipment traceability.

Job Requirements

Academic background:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years in international trade, logistics, or supply chain.

Knowledge:

• Import and export processes
• Customs regulations
• Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Language:

• English indispensable (oral and written) for communication with international customers and subsidiaries.
