Accounting Analyst

We are looking for an Accounting Analyst - Accounts Payable with excellent analytical capacity, attention to detail, and advanced mastery of the English language to join a dynamic and international financial team. This position will be responsible for ensuring the correct execution of accounts payable processes, documentary control, and reconciliation of financial information, maintaining high standards of compliance and accuracy.

Indispensable Requirement

• Advanced English level (oral and written).

The position requires frequent interaction with international vendors, regional teams, audits, and different corporate areas, so the ability to communicate in English will be evaluated during the selection process.

What will your mission be?

To ensure the correct management and analysis of accounts payable processes, guaranteeing the timely registration of invoices, reconciliations, payment documentation, tax compliance, and administrative control in accordance with the organization's financial policies.

Main responsibilities

• Register and process vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
• Manage the complete accounts payable cycle.
• Review, analyze, and reconcile vendor statements.
• Issue tax withholdings and ensure corresponding tax compliance.
• Follow up on inquiries, discrepancies, and incidents related to payments.
• Coordinate with different departments to resolve situations linked to vendors and financial documentation.
• Adequately document and support all payments made.
• Control and review corporate card settlements and expense reimbursements.
• Keep digital and physical files of the financial area updated.
• Participate in internal and external audits by providing documentary support and financial information.
• Prepare reports, analyses, and indicators related to accounts payable.
• Guarantee compliance with policies, internal procedures, and financial controls.

Profile we are looking for

Academic background

Advanced university studies or graduate in: Contaduría Pública y Auditoría, Administración de Empresas, Finanzas, or related careers.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in: Accounts payable, Accounting analysis, Invoice registration and control, Account reconciliations, and Financial and administrative processes.

Technical knowledge

• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) processes.
• Accounting reconciliations and financial analysis.
• Withholdings and taxes.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Management of ERP or financial systems.
• Documentary control and financial archiving.
• Preparation of reports and indicators.

Language

Advanced English (Indispensable)

Capacity required to:

• Maintain written and verbal communication with regional and international teams.
• Handle inquiries from foreign vendors.
• Draft emails and financial documentation in English.
