Night Receptionist (M/F)

Manpower AGEN is searching for its client, a chain hotel player, for a Night Receptionist (M/F). We are looking for a candidate capable of ensuring guest reception, the security of the establishment, and the smooth running of operations during the night.

As the main point of contact for the hotel during the night, you are the guarantor of service quality and the proper functioning of the establishment.

Your missions include notably:

• Welcoming guests with professionalism and friendliness.
• Performing check-in and check-out as well as associated administrative operations.
• Responding to guest requests and ensuring follow-up to guarantee their satisfaction.
• Providing information to guests regarding hotel services and local tourist information.
• Managing the telephone switchboard and handling reservation requests.
• Ensuring the proper transmission of information between different departments.
• Performing daily closings and night reporting.
• Maintaining, verifying, and controlling the cash register.
• Controlling payments and reporting any potential discrepancies.
• Guaranteeing the security of people, property, and the establishment.
• Applying procedures regarding security, fire, and evacuation.
• Making appropriate decisions for the situations encountered and taking responsibility for them.
• English is imperative, with true fluency in speaking.

Above all, we are looking for a personality. A first experience in hospitality is appreciated but not mandatory. You are:

• Attracted to the hospitality and customer service sector.
• Possessing an excellent sense of welcome, service, and listening.
• Comfortable with a varied clientele: international, business, leisure, groups, different cultures and generations.
• Capable of working alone at night while demonstrating autonomy.
• Capable of arbitrating delicate situations with discernment and firmness.
• Aware of security issues related to fire risks, theft, or inappropriate behavior.
• Fluent English, a 2nd language can be a plus.

Fixed night shifts: average 35h weekly base and one weekend worked out of two. Do you enjoy customer contact, know how to keep your cool, and wish to practice a profession where no service resembles the previous one?
