Manpower RECRUITMENT CABINET AUVERGNE is looking for its client, a player in the metallurgy and materials processing sector, an Industrial Director (M/F)
Industrial Strategy and Management
As a member of the Executive Committee, you define and deploy the Group's industrial strategy in line with the orientations of the General Management. You build medium and long-term visions regarding organization, industrial capacities, technologies, and investments. You optimize the allocation of human, technical, and economic resources across a multi-site perimeter (approximately 80 workstations, 6,700 m² of workshops), manage modernization projects, and develop inter-site synergies to harmonize practices and consolidate the Group's industrial model.
Performance and Continuous Improvement
You guarantee the overall performance of operations according to the axes of Safety, Quality, Costs, Deadlines, and Engagement. You deploy a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement (Lean, digitalization), anticipate industrial and technological evolutions, and manage performance indicators as well as associated action plans.
Management and Leadership
You supervise and lead a team of 6 department managers (Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, Maintenance), develop a unifying vision, and support the skill development of teams and subsidiaries.
Financial Management and Reporting
You prepare and manage the industrial budget in connection with finance, and ensure structured reporting to the General Management
- Proven experience in industrial management, ideally in a multi-site and international environment
- Solid expertise in industrial processes: production, supply chain, maintenance, engineering
- Mastery of industrial performance and continuous improvement tools
- Significant experience in hierarchical and transversal management of multidisciplinary teams
- Fluent English is essential
- Assertive leadership, strategic vision, result-oriented mindset, and rigor in execution
