Assistant Product Manager (M/F)
Job Description:
Manpower CABINET DE RECRUTEMENT DE LA HAUTE-SAVOIE is looking for its client, an international industrial group that designs innovative engineering solutions for a wide range of markets, a Junior Product Manager (M/F). Reporting to the Product and Applications Manager, your main objective is to transform business opportunities into firm orders, while ensuring the technical compliance of our products.
Your missions revolve around business-oriented product marketing, without an R&D development dimension: Offer Management: Analyze complex client specifications, prepare quotes, and ensure strict adherence to response deadlines. Interface and Support: Ensure the price-lead-time-technical liaison between the division and the field, and provide direct technical support to the sales forces. Pricing Strategy: Optimize the consistency of prices and discounts in connection with the strategic pricing team. Product Line Monitoring: Ensure the monitoring of product line evolution and maintain all data up to date in the ERP.
This position constitutes an excellent stepping stone for a technical profile (coming, for example, from a Design Office, Methods, or Support) wishing to redirect their career and evolve towards product marketing. As the team already includes an expert profile, we are primarily looking for a person ready to develop within this function. Training & Technical: Minimum Bac+3 level with a specialty in mechanics. Knowledge of fluids/hydraulics and the ability to read a technical drawing are strong assets. Experience: An initial operational experience within an industrial company is required. Languages: Perfect mastery of English, both spoken and written (Minimum C1 level mandatory for international exchanges). Professional Qualities: Customer culture awareness, strong communication and negotiation skills, analytical mindset, and the ability to work autonomously in a multicultural environment.
