Customs Transit Agent (M/F)

Manpower VAL D'EUROPE is looking for an Import Customs Transit Agent (M/F) for its client, a player in the logistics and transport sector.

Position based in Serris - 77700.

Within the operations team, you will ensure the complete management of import transport files in compliance with current regulations, internal procedures, and customer requirements.

In this capacity, your main missions are:

• Manage and monitor import transport files
• Control the compliance of transport documents and customs documents
• Organize the routing of goods from their arrival to their final delivery
• Perform customs formalities related to importation operations
• Ensure the exchange of information with customers, suppliers, carriers, foreign agents, and internal services
• Verify the correct application of transport, customs, and international trade regulations
• Monitor arrivals and handle any potential anomalies
• Enter and update files in the operations system
• Control and validate costs related to transport operations
• Ensure the monitoring of invoicing and file profitability
• Participate in the continuous improvement of service quality and customer satisfaction

Daytime hours from Monday to Friday.

Remuneration according to the company's internal scale, depending on profile and experience.

You have a background in Transport / Logistics / International Trade and ideally have a first successful experience in a similar position in import transit, freight forwarding, or customs declarations.

Technical skills:

• Good knowledge of national and international transport chain organization
• Mastery of transport and customs regulations
• Knowledge of Incoterms and international trade procedures
• Mastery of IT tools and transport operations software
• Professional English (written and oral)
