• Location: Zona Franca El Coyol, Alajuela
• Modality: 100% on-site
• Schedule Shift B:
• Monday to Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
• Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Job Objective

Provide technical and operational support to manufacturing activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives through process monitoring, indicator analysis, validations, and execution of continuous improvement projects.

Main Responsibilities

• Monitor performance indicators related to production, quality, waste, and yield.
• Analyze trends and propose improvements to optimize production processes.
• Participate in validations of equipment, processes, products, and test methods.
• Keep technical documentation and manufacturing systems up to date.
• Coordinate installation, maintenance, and calibration activities for production equipment.
• Participate in non-conforming product investigations and root cause analysis.
• Lead or support continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Provide technical support to operational personnel and collaborate in training processes.
• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to implement improvements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Production, or related fields.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing, production processes, quality, or engineering.
• Knowledge in:
• Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Design of Experiments (DOE)
• Problem analysis and solution
• Continuous improvement
• Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Intermediate English (B1-B2).

It will be a plus if you have experience in:

• Medical industry or highly regulated manufacturing.
• Validations of products, processes, and equipment.
• FDA, GMP, and ISO regulations.
• Root cause analysis methodologies.
• SAP systems.
