Machinery Maintenance Planning Engineer - 5x2 Shift Residence Antofagasta

Machinery Company, Mining services, is looking for a Machinery Maintenance Planning Engineer to join the Assets area, performing a key role in the coordination and planning of strategic maintenance for mining equipment, ensuring the correct scheduling of work and availability of spare parts for operational continuity. Must reside in Antofagasta. 5x2 Shift.

Main responsibilities

1. Participate in long-term maintenance (LTP) planning and scheduling.
2. Coordinate activities and work schedules with maintenance and planning teams at the site.
3. Manage the availability of spare parts for the timely execution of planned tasks.
4. Prepare and control Gantt charts, procedures, and documentation associated with scheduled work.
5. Administer and keep information updated in management and planning systems.
6. Coordinate with internal areas and providers to ensure compliance with maintenance programs.
7. Perform monitoring and control of activities, safeguarding the quality and traceability of information.

Requirements

1. Professional degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of experience in maintenance planning, asset management, maintenance, or inventory control.
3. Experience in resource administration, quality, and operational safety.
4. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
5. Experience using ERP systems, ideally Oracle/JDE.
6. Knowledge of Microsoft Project or equivalent planning tools.
7. Advanced English level.
8. Availability to work between Santiago and sites in the northern zone, depending on project requirements.
