We are looking for a Transport Specialist for a client in the telecommunications industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute transport strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage daily transport operations, including vehicle allocation, route planning, warehouse coordination, and carrier management.
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations, safety standards, and international trade requirements.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives through budgeting, freight analysis, and operational improvements.
- Oversee transport performance and leverage digital tools such as Transport Management Systems (TMS), GPS tracking, and data analytics to improve efficiency.
- Identify transport-related risks, implement contingency plans, and effectively manage emergency situations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external logistics partners to strengthen supply chain performance.
- Lead, develop, and motivate transport teams to achieve operational excellence.
Requirements
- University degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in transport, logistics, and supply chain management.
- Solid knowledge of transport operations, route optimization, and carrier management.
- Knowledge of transport regulations, compliance requirements, and safety standards.
- Experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis of transport.
- Proficiency in Transport Management Systems (TMS), GPS tracking platforms, and reporting tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage risks, solve operational challenges, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Advanced level of English (Mandatory).
