Operations Improvement Engineer

Our client, a leading manufacturing organisation, is seeking an Operations Improvement Engineer to support plant operations, process improvement and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support safe, reliable and efficient manufacturing operations.
• Analyse process data to improve productivity, yield, energy efficiency and equipment reliability.
• Identify and implement process improvement, digitalisation and automation opportunities.
• Develop dashboards and digital workflows using Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate .
• Support data analytics and AI applications for manufacturing.
• Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance and other cross-functional teams.
• Support MOC, operational excellence and Industry 4.0 initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Chemical/petrochemical manufacturing experience is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with SharePoint Workflow, Power Apps and Power Automate is required .
• Training or experience in data analytics and AI is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in technology and innovation.
