Your tasks

Genome is looking for a Sanctions Officer!

• Ensure compliance with Lithuanian and international sanctions regulations, regularly reviewing and updating internal policies, procedures, and controls.
• Identify, assess, and manage sanctions-related risks, develop mitigation measures, and report key risks to management.
• Oversee the implementation of international sanctions, including decisions on freezing funds and applying other restrictive measures.
• Prepare and submit sanctions-related reports to relevant authorities, including the FCIS and the Bank of Lithuania.
• Monitor and regularly test sanctions screening tools, rules, and scenarios, ensuring sanctions lists are accurate and up to date.
• Organize sanctions compliance training and provide guidance to employees across the company.
• Maintain effective communication with management, internal teams, regulators, and auditors on sanctions compliance matters and regulatory changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Compliance or a related field.
• 4+ years of sanctions compliance experience in banking, fintech, EMI, or another regulated institution.
• Strong knowledge of EU, UN, OFAC, and UK sanctions regimes, including screening, ownership/control rules and reporting requirements.
• Hands-on experience in sanctions investigations, regulatory reporting, and using sanctions screening and case management tools.
• Advanced English.
• ICA, CAMS or equivalent certification is an advantage.

4600-4800 €/mon. gross Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience
