Casual Reservations Coordinator

Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree is looking for a Casual Reservations Coordinator to join our team and support the Reservations function in delivering a seamless experience to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle guest reservations and enquiries via telephone, email and other communication channels.
• Assist guests with room bookings, amendments, cancellations and general reservation enquiries.
• Provide accurate information on room types, rates, packages, promotions and hotel facilities.
• Process reservations accurately in the hotel’s reservation/PMS system.
• Liaise with Front Office and other departments to ensure guest requests and special arrangements are properly communicated.
• Follow up on reservation requests and ensure timely responses to guests.
• Assist with maintaining accurate reservation records and reports.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate matters to the appropriate supervisor when required.
• Support the Reservations team with daily administrative and operational duties.
• Ensure all guest interactions are handled in accordance with hotel standards and Banyan Tree service standards.

Requirements

• Prior experience in Reservations, Front Office, Guest Services or a similar hospitality role is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-oriented with a positive and professional attitude.
• Good telephone etiquette and email communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is an advantage.
• Knowledge of hotel reservation/PMS systems will be an added advantage.
• Able to work on a casual basis , including weekends and public holidays where required.
