What you can look forward to:

As a Customer Engineer in the area of product quality, you will make a significant contribution to ensuring vehicle quality. In this role, you will analyze complex error patterns directly on the vehicle or remotely, work closely with development, quality, and Customer Service, and actively contribute to sustainable error elimination. Through your technical support, you will make an important contribution to the introduction of new products and technologies into the service organization and to the customer. Your expertise in vehicle electronics architecture, high-voltage technology, and diagnostic systems makes you a central point of contact here.

• Carrying out error analyses on-site or remotely, including log file analyses
• Evaluation of fault memory entries, SSD tickets, and FMP documentation
• Installation and support of measuring technology in the vehicle
• Collection, preparation, and forwarding of relevant measurement and vehicle data
• Carrying out software updates and flashing processes on vehicles and control units, parameterization of control units and vehicle systems
• Analysis of the EE architecture including high-voltage components and control units
• Troubleshooting in the EE and high-voltage network, identification of anomalies and error patterns
• Documentation of defects and measures, as well as preparation and feedback of results, creation of reports for specialist departments and management
• Cross-departmental cooperation with Quality, Engineering, and Customer Service for root cause analysis and initiation of suitable countermeasures
• Knowledge transfer of known functional problems and known solutions from development to the service organization
• Recognition of qualification needs and new requirements for workshop equipment in the workshop network

What we look forward to:

• Completed training as a Kfz-Mechatroniker with high-voltage knowledge; further training as a Meister or Techniker desirable
• Negotiation skills and confident written expression in contact with other specialist departments, suppliers, workshops, and customers
• Sound knowledge of commercial vehicle technology as well as vehicle electronics and software network structures
• Confident handling of vehicle measuring technology and diagnostic systems (e.g., MAN-Cats)
• Knowledge of CAN analysis tools
• Analytical, structured, and documentation-secure way of working
• High problem-solving competence and sense of responsibility
• Very good English skills
• High willingness to travel within the DACH region
• Driving license class C desirable
• Strong communication skills and team orientation
• Good PC skills (MS Office, SAP, Salesforce, ODIS)
