Senior Java Developer (Camel / SpringBoot / KAFKA)
Maltem Asia is seeking a Senior Java Developer for a Wealth Management Client based in Singapore. Required Skills & Experience Technical: Strong hands‑on experience with Apache Camel (routing DSL, component development, Spring Boot integration). Proficiency in Spring Boot (including Spring Cloud, Spring Data, Spring Security Experience with messaging systems: Kafka , ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, XSLT, and data‑format conversion. Containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift). CI/CD pipelines (Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). Unit & integration testing (JUnit 5, Testcontainers, MockMVC). Methodologies: Agile/Scrum delivery. Domain‑Driven Design (DDD) and micro‑service architecture. Understanding of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
Experience and Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in the Technology field including hands on in both development and production support roles. Track record in providing application and technical assistance on multiple systems and platforms. Experience in providing communications across business and technology stakeholders at varying levels. Experience in supporting multiple applications, establishing best practices processes and procedures. Experience in planning, designing and executing effective support and process models Understanding of Software process Models like Agile, Waterfall etc. Experience in Incident, Problem Management: Incident tracking & reporting; Problem tracking & reporting until resolution to ensure reduction of production Incidents. Experience in or participation in Capacity Planning, Re-Engineering, Performance Fine Tuning. Desire experience in Infrastructure Migrations: Hands on experience in planning and executing DB Migrations, Server Migrations, Version Upgrades from the production support perspective. Soft Skills: Analytical problem‑solving and troubleshooting aptitude. Effective communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Proactive attitude, willingness to mentor, and continuous learning mindset.
