Security Engineer (Elastic stack / Python / RHEL / Ubuntu)

Maltem Asia is seeking a Security Engineer for a Wealth Management Client based in Singapore. Role: Security Engineer Technical Skills: At least 4 to 5 years focused on large‑scale Elastic‑Stack design, deployment and support Production experience across the following technologies: Production‑grade experience with the Elastic Stack – ingestion, indexing, monitoring and analytics (mandatory). Strong hands‑on experience with KAFKA. Proficient Linux administration (RHEL/Ubuntu). Scripting/programming – Python or Bash (minimum 2 years). Automation/orchestration – Ansible (or equivalent) and CI/CD pipelines. Proven production‑support background; comfortable with both virtual and physical environments. Banking‑sector experience is as a plus. Personal Attributes: Rigorous and detail‑oriented. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Self‑driven; able to work autonomously and take ownership. Excellent communicator and collaborative team player. High energy, proactive attitude and willingness to up‑skill. Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
