Job Overview Malfar Mechanical is looking for an intermediate Mechanical Piping Detailer to join our team of Designers. The successful candidate will be an ambitious individual who exhibits confidence and has been working in this field for 3-5 years. Your tasks
Responsibilities
- Prepare engineering designs and drawings
- Develop and prepare design sketches
- Complete documentation packages and drawing sets
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Adapt to Mechanical system design and fabrication drawings
- Examine drawings for conformity and errors
- Produce spool drawings for fabrication shop
- Drivers Licence and personal transportation require for site visits when required
- Construction site experience, including required PPE and certification an asset
Requirements
Languages
- English
Education
- College, University certificate or diploma from a Technical program (Favourable Mechanical Engineering)
Experience
- 3-5 years detailing mechanical piping system, mechanical rooms and construction sleeving process
- Trade knowledge and applicable building codes requirements are preferred asset
- Start as soon as possible
- Wages to be determined depending experience
Computer and technology knowledge
- MS Office
- CADMep, AutoCAD
- Revit and affiliated Autodesk programs
- Mechanical Piping Fabrication software
