*Position Summary:*
We are seeking a Forklift Operator who is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of powered industrial trucks to move, load, unload, and organize materials within the facility and yard. This role plays a critical part in maintaining workflow, supporting production, and ensuring accurate inventory handling.
*Qualifications & Skills*
- Previous forklift operating experience required
- Valid forklift certification
- Ability to lift heavy materials as required
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic math and inventory skills
- Strong communication skills
*Primary Responsibilities (but not limited to)*
- Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies and safety regulations
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers
- Move raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials throughout the facility
- Stage materials for production and shipping
- Perform daily forklift inspections and complete required checklists
- Report mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately
- Assist with inventory control, including scanning, labeling, and counting materials
- Ensure proper stacking, storage, and rotation of products
- Maintain clean and organized warehouse and yard areas
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Support production teams as needed
- Complete all other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management
