Senior Frontend Developer Vue.js / TypeScript
About the company
We are looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join an international team developing OpenGDDS β a digital product supporting non-clinical research through semantic search and automated document generation.
The system utilizes agentic AI solutions, the Databricks platform, and dedicated AWS infrastructure. The frontend layer is developed based on Vue.js and TypeScript.
Your tasks
In this position, you will be responsible for the development and evolution of the user interface, working closely with UX/UI, backend, data, AI, infrastructure, and product teams.
- Development, maintenance, and optimization of scalable frontend applications using Vue.js 3 and TypeScript.
- Translating UX/UI designs and product requirements into responsive, accessible, and maintainable interfaces.
- Co-creating the frontend architecture and assessing the technical feasibility, scalability, and maintainability of proposed solutions.
- Integrating applications with the backend, API, and search functionalities within the OpenGDDS platform.
- Creating MVPs, rapid prototyping, and experimenting with new solutions.
- Ensuring code quality through unit and end-to-end testing, code review, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with an international, interdisciplinary team to deliver solutions that meet the needs of scientists and business users.
- Direct collaboration with users, conducting workshops, and gathering requirements and feedback.
Requirements
Technologies Required: Vue.js 3, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Vite, Inertia.js, Vitest, Playwright, Figma.
Additional asset: Python, AWS, Jest, React, Angular.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in creating frontend applications.
- Very good knowledge of Vue.js 3 and TypeScript.
- Practical knowledge of Tailwind CSS, Vite, and Inertia.js.
- Experience in testing applications using Vitest and/or Playwright.
- Knowledge of Figma and the ability to collaborate with UX/UI designers.
- Experience in conducting workshops, working with users, rapid prototyping, and verifying concepts.
- Ability to design and develop scalable applications and understand system architecture.
- Experience working with complex data and in a regulated environment β preferred industries: pharmaceutical, life sciences, or research; experience in finance or banking may also be useful.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical solutions, limitations, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical people.
- Independence, responsibility for assigned tasks, openness to feedback, and punctuality.
- Higher education in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Fluency in English both spoken and written.
Nice to have
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or scientific industry and collaborating with users from the scientific community.
- Experience in creating interfaces for systems based on RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) or agentic AI architecture.
- Knowledge of Python.
- Experience with AWS services.
- Knowledge of Jest.
- Experience with React or Angular.
