Data Analyst / Data Engineer Senior

About the company

For our client in the banking sector, we are looking for an experienced Data Analyst / Data Engineer to join the Recovery Data Management team. The person in this position will be responsible for developing data solutions, collaborating with business stakeholders and technology teams, as well as translating business requirements into scalable and reliable data solutions.

Your tasks

• Gathering and analyzing business requirements.
• Designing, developing, and maintaining data models and reliable data pipelines.
• Conducting end-to-end tasks – from requirements analysis, through implementation and testing, to production deployment.
• Creating solutions using SQL, Python, Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow.
• Data integration using APIs and other data sources.
• Automating processes and implementing modern software engineering practices, including CI/CD and automated testing.
• Ensuring the stability, reliability, and maintainability of the delivered solutions.

Requirements

We are looking for an independent specialist who can take responsibility for assigned tasks and quickly acquire domain knowledge.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in the field of Data Engineering and Data Warehousing.
• Very good knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Practical experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow.
• Ability to perform data modeling and design scalable and fault-tolerant data pipelines.
• Experience in API integration and working with modern data architectures.
• Knowledge of good software engineering practices, including Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and the DevOps approach.
• Fluency in English.
• Independence, responsibility for assigned tasks, and the ability to cooperate with business and technical teams.
