Designer, Graphics & Spatial (Events)

Job Summary
Design and produce event visuals, technical drawings, and spatial layouts for MakBesar’s events and clients. Conduct site visits, prepare print-ready materials, and support on-site event operations including build and event days.
Responsibilities
- Design key visuals, posters, social media and ad assets, signage, and collateral for MakBesar’s events and client/agency productions
- Produce accurate technical drawings in AutoCAD, including floorplans, booth layouts, tentage, stage, and fabrication plans for venue, client, and authority submissions
- Conduct site recces and take precise on-ground measurements to translate venue conditions into detailed layouts and drawings
- Prepare print-ready files, specifications, and proofs for signage, wayfinding, backdrops, and tentage graphics; coordinate onsite printing with operations lead
- Develop props, stage sets, photo spots, and installations by creating concept sketches, technical drawings, material specifications, and performing on-site quality checks during builds
- Layout client proposals, tender submissions, sponsor prospectuses, and event documents with clear, professional formatting
- Support on-site activities during recces, build days, and event days, including weekends and evenings during event weeks
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in Spatial Design, Interior Design, Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Architecture, or related field;
- Competent in AutoCAD for 2D technical drawings
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Portfolio demonstrating graphic design work and technical drawings or spatial layouts
- Willingness to travel to venues for site recces and measurements and comfort working on build sites
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience or proficiency in SketchUp or other 3D design software

This role requires flexibility to work on-site during weekends and evenings for event weeks
