Accounting Manager

Job Purpose Own the integrity of the accounting function, Trial Balance, Balance Sheet reconciliations and financial closing process while acting as a key Finance owner for the Odoo implementation . Key Responsibilities Manage monthly and annual financial closing.

Ensure integrity and completeness of the Trial Balance.

Own monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation.

Supervise GL, AP and inventory accounting/control activities.

Review accruals, provisions, prepayments and reconciliations.

Ensure compliance with applicable IFRS and company accounting policies.

Coordinate external audit requirements and schedules.

Supervise GL and taxation activities.

Review significant and non-routine accounting transactions.

Strengthen accounting controls and closing procedures.

Lead Finance requirements for Odoo accounting configuration.

Review Chart of Accounts and accounting mappings.

Lead accounting data migration, opening balances and reconciliations.

Coordinate Finance UAT and validate accounting outputs before go-live.

Support Odoo cutover and post-go-live stabilization.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

8–12 years of accounting experience with management responsibility.

Strong GL, Trial Balance, Balance Sheet reconciliation and closing experience.

Strong IFRS knowledge.

ERP implementation/migration experience strongly preferred.

CPA/CMA/ACCA or equivalent is an advantage.

Pharmaceutical/FMCG/distribution experience preferred.

Hands-on Odoo experience is strongly preferred, particularly Finance modules, configuration, data migration, UAT and financial reporting.

Key KPIs: Closing timetable, TB accuracy, BS reconciliation completion, audit adjustments, unresolved accounting items and Odoo implementation milestones.
