Head of Purchasing (m/f/d)

YOUR TASKS WITH US:

• Strategic Purchasing
• Development and implementation of a sustainable purchasing strategy
• Analysis and optimization of global procurement markets
• Establishment, selection, and development of suppliers as well as conducting contract negotiations
• Identification of savings potential and realization of cost reduction measures
• Further development of purchasing processes, KPIs, and digitalization

Operational Purchasing

• Ensuring timely material availability for production and customer orders
• Planning and inventory management considering efficiency and security of supply
• Management of day-to-day business including order processing, complaint management, and supplier communication
• Close cooperation with production, sales, development, and logistics

Leadership & Organization

• Functional and disciplinary leadership of the purchasing team
• Promotion of performance-oriented and cross-functional cooperation
• Further development of structures and processes in purchasing

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or comparable
• Several years of professional experience in the purchasing of a manufacturing company (ideally plastic/industrial environment)
• Leadership experience as well as strategic competence
• Business fluent English skills
• Analytical strength, assertiveness, and entrepreneurial thinking
• Confident handling of ERP systems and purchasing KPIs
