Residential Conveyancing Solicitor / CILEx

The Opportunity

An established law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor or qualified CILEx professional to join its team on a fully remote basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced conveyancer who can confidently manage a residential property caseload while delivering a professional and responsive service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion
• Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Managing remortgages, transfers of equity and other residential property matters
• Reviewing searches, contracts, title documentation and mortgage offers
• Raising and responding to enquiries
• Preparing files for exchange and completion
• Communicating regularly with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
• Ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Maintaining accurate records and meeting internal compliance standards

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEx professional
• Minimum of five years’ post-qualified experience in residential conveyancing
• Demonstrable experience independently managing a residential conveyancing caseload
• Strong knowledge of the residential conveyancing process
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
• Client-focused, accurate and commercially aware

Package and Benefits

• Salary of £50,000–£55,000 , depending on experience
• Fully remote working
• Working hours of 9:30am–6:00pm
• 25 days’ annual leave
