Your tasks: Technical responsibility and feasibility assessment

• Main contact person for technical topics between Design (Styling) and Engineering
• Translation of technical requirements, boundary conditions, and restrictions into understandable design specifications

• Development of innovative and competitive solutions within the supervised modules and projects
• Creation of technical specifications as well as design briefings

• Assessment and validation of the technical feasibility of design proposals
• Active questioning and optimization of design concepts regarding implementability, quality, and economic efficiency

Engineering and project integration

• Management of the technical interface between Design, Engineering, customers, and suppliers
• Interpretation and communication of technical specifications as well as change management in the development process

• Coordination and alignment of technical solutions in interdisciplinary project teams
• Representation of the specialist department in project groups, reviews, and technical coordination rounds

• Participation in EBI and EBE committees as well as taking on binding technical commitments after coordination

Your profile:

º Successfully completed HTL/FH/TU in one of the following areas: Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Telematics, Computer Science, or comparable qualification º Relevant, several years of professional experience in the field of function and property development or experience in the component development of a mechatronic component º Experience in leading a project team is an advantage º Management experience º Openness to new topics and challenges º Interest in cross-functional project management º Leadership experience in the context of international cooperation º Analytical thinking skills as well as an independent and structured way of working º Understanding of networked, mechatronic functions at the complete vehicle level º Hands-on mentality and enjoyment of working in a multidisciplinary project team º High level of commitment and creativity as well as teamwork skills º Very good English skills in speaking and writing
