Transitional Teacher - Toddler Preschool

We are hiring a Classroom Teacher in our new Toddler/Preschool Transitional Classroom. This exciting, high-energy role focuses on the development and education of children from 2 to 3.5 years of age. This role requires a creative, positive, engaging team player who wants to have lots of fun and work hard with likeminded educators.
You'll thrive in this role if you have: EEC Infant/Toddler/Preschool Teacher Certification or CDA (required)
Daycare experience in a center-based, private, or public school setting
An energetic approach to learning and a positive attitude
Curiosity, creativity, and a strong team-focused mindset
Some requirements for this role include: Flexibility to work an 8-hour shift within the school's operating hours, including opening and closing shifts
Ability to spend extended periods of time on the floor with children, stand for up to 90% of the workday, and lift up to 50 lbs
Attentiveness, strong time management, and strong collaboration skills
As a Toddler Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for: Collaborate with your co-teacher to prepare curriculum, lesson plans, and materials
Support social-emotional growth and early learning through play-based, age-appropriate activities
Keep parents informed and build positive relationships with children and families
Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly classroom environment
Assist with daily routines, including toilet training, diapering, meals, outdoor time, and naptime
Track children's progress and complete required assessments
Maintain your EEC-required professional development hours and PQ registry
Help children build independence, language, and confidence as they transition toward preschool
