Electronic Control and Test Technician (M/F)

Your tasks

We are looking for our Test Bench Development Engineer M/F who designs, develops, validates, and maintains automated systems used to test products (electronic boards, sub-assemblies, equipment) in order to guarantee their compliance with the technical specifications of the design office or the client.

Test Benches

• Creation of new references on the test benches.
• Configure and validate the different product variants on the various test benches.
• Provide support and maintenance of the benches to the production team.

Development

• Develop programs under Test Stand / LabVIEW / Lab Windows CVI.
• Respect the specifications or the test strategy requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards on test deliverables (coding security and Forge SVN).
• Exchange with multidisciplinary teams (Automation, System, Mechanical, Design Office).
• Create wiring diagrams for interfaces and test benches.
• Manage quotes, orders, and technical exchanges with the subcontractor.
• Perform necessary qualification and repeatability tests until the deliverable meets the imposed test standards.
• Ensure communication to management in the form of reports regarding events, data, and information allowing for decision-making.
• Produce the necessary validation reports (respecting the template used).
• Be proactive in constructing the improvement plan and productivity plan for testing resources.
• Have technical and organizational choices and decisions validated by management.
• Implement test equipment into the production process to integrate new products.
• Propose and implement the evolution of test equipment as part of improvement and optimization.
• Create and implement operating procedures, instructions, and job sheets for testing resources.

Requirements

With an engineering background in electronics and power electronics, you have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position.

You master LabVIEW, Test Stand, and have strong knowledge in reading electrical diagrams.

You have a good level of professional English.

Position based at the parent company MAFELEC in CHIMILIN and very frequent travel to SAINT BONNET DE MURE at the company PETERCEM SENSORS.
