Infra Engineer * Must have Huawei certification (AMK)

Design, implement, configure and maintain Huawei-based IT infrastructure and network systems. Perform installation, configuration, integration and commissioning of Huawei network and infrastructure equipment. Monitor infrastructure performance, identify potential issues and perform troubleshooting to ensure system availability and reliability. Support network infrastructure including routing, switching, firewalls, wireless and related ICT systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure and maintain Huawei-based IT infrastructure and network systems
• Perform installation, configuration, integration and commissioning of Huawei network and infrastructure equipment
• Monitor infrastructure performance, identify potential issues and perform troubleshooting to ensure system availability and reliability
• Support network infrastructure including routing, switching, firewalls, wireless and related ICT systems
• Conduct system health checks, preventive maintenance and performance optimisation
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network connectivity issues and provide timely resolution
• Support infrastructure migration, upgrade and expansion projects
• Prepare technical documentation, configuration records, reports and project handover documents
• Work closely with project teams, vendors and customers to ensure smooth project implementation and delivery
• Ensure infrastructure deployment complies with technical requirements, security standards and project specifications

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Networking or a related field
• Huawei Certified ICT Associate (HCIA), Huawei Certified ICT Professional (HCIP) or Huawei Certified ICT Expert (HCIE) certification in a relevant infrastructure/networking track (either one is a must)
• 2–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, network engineering or related technical environments
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, switching and network troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with Huawei network and infrastructure equipment is preferred
• Experience in infrastructure deployment, configuration, testing and maintenance
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with project and technical teams
• Good communication and technical documentation skills
• Willing to support project deployment, maintenance or on-site activities when required
