Senior Data & AI Engineer

At our partner (Limburg region), they collect large amounts of data from the aviation sector, but its potential is not yet fully utilized today. Therefore, we are looking for a Senior Data & AI Engineer who will build a future-oriented data architecture and governance from scratch and convert this data into valuable insights.

You will get the chance to shape a new data environment, put AI and machine learning on the map, and contribute directly to better products, stronger customer insights, and a competitive advantage in the market. You will see the direct impact of your work here.

Profile

• You have at least 4 to 5 years of experience in data engineering and possess a master's degree or equivalent experience
• You have strong knowledge of Databricks and experience with data architecture and data governance
• You have experience with AI and machine learning and understand how to deploy these technologies in a data environment
• You take ownership, think strategically, and enjoy building something completely from scratch
• You are a strong communicator and socially skilled. You know how to ask the right questions, translate stakeholder needs into concrete solutions, and collaborate closely with different teams
• You communicate fluently in English. (Dutch is a plus, but not a requirement)
