Education:

Work setting:

Repair and overhaul organization. Overhaul. Workshop.

Tasks:

• Prepare production and other reports.
• Recommend measures to improve productivity .
• Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• Supervise workers and projects.
• Co-ordinate and schedule activities.
• Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions.
• Train or arrange for training.
• Prepare bids.
• Estimate costs and materials.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units.
• Supervise technical staff.
• Supervise and co-ordinate the manufacturing, repair and overhaul of aircraft and spacecraft.
