Interim Finance Business Partnering

About the company

Our Client Our client is a well-established not-for-profit organisation with a turnover of c.£13m. Due to a busy budgeting season they are looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to support the organisation throughout this period with a potential for it to go permanent.

Your tasks

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a true 50/50 Finance Business Partnering and Management Accounting position, combining stakeholder-facing budgeting responsibilities with hands-on month-end and reporting activities.

Key responsibilities include

• Leading budgeting and forecasting processes across the organisation.
• Partnering with budget holders to provide financial support and challenge.
• Producing management accounts and supporting month-end activities.
• Maintaining reconciliations and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Working closely with the wider finance team to support planning and decision-making.
• Supporting project and grant reporting requirements.

Requirements

The Successful Candidate

• Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Strong Management Accounting background.
• Proven budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Strong Finance Business Partnering and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience of project and grant accounting.
• Ideally from the charity/not for profit sector
