About the company

Macildowie Supply Chain has exclusively partnered with a manufacturing business in Ripley to recruit a Supply / Demand Planner.

Your tasks

The key objectives are to ensure products are available to meet customer demand while balancing production capacity, stock levels and supply chain requirements.

• Creating monthly supply plans, coordinating weekly production schedules with the factory, monitoring orders and inventory.
• Resolve potential supply issues to prevent customer backlogs.
• Maintaining accurate planning data using SAP and adjust supply plans as required.
• Preparing monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings and forecasting future capacity requirements
• Managing product launches and phase-outs to ensure the right stock is available at the right time.
• Create a monthly supply plan for certain products, considering production capacities, market requirements, current order situation, inventory situation and inventory targets.
• Cooperate closely with the sales support teams to be up-to-date on current and expected developments and to smooth out production whilst maintaining the supply planning relevant master data in SAP.
• Aligning sales forecasts, customer demand, production capacity, inventory and financial targets to ensure a business can meet demand efficiently.

Requirements

The Candidate

• Previous experience operating in a Supply Planning, Demand Planning or Production Planning environment.
• Able to travel to Ripley.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office including Excel.
