Category Buyer – consulting assignment in Göteborg
We are looking for an experienced Category Buyer for a consulting assignment with our client in Göteborg. The role is suitable for you who are confident in strategic and operational service procurement and can quickly familiarize yourself with the business's needs.
About the assignment
You are responsible for sourcing and procurement within selected service categories, such as HR-tjänster, facility services, juridiska tjänster, and other professional services. You develop category strategies, manage supplier relationships, and act as a procurement partner to internal business units.
Tasks
- Drive sourcing and procurement activities according to established processes
- Develop and implement category strategies
- Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and statements of work
- Analyze spend, cost structures, and supplier proposals
- Manage supplier relationships and internal stakeholders
- Ensure the best possible value, quality, and contractual terms
We are looking for you who have
- Relevant university education in economics, procurement, supply chain, or equivalent
- At least five years of experience in procurement, of which at least three years in service procurement
- Experience in, for example, professional services, corporate services, facility services, or HR-tjänster
- Good knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office
- Understanding of commercial terms, contract structures, and risk management
- Very good English in speech and writing
- Strong analytical ability and experience collaborating with many stakeholders

Assignment type: Consulting assignment
Scope: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Location: Göteborg, on-site work
Start: 21 September 2026, or by agreement
Period: Approximately six months
Travel: May occur
