PROJECT MANAGER

Project Planning

Prepare project schedules, milestones and work plans. Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment and subcontractors. Review project specifications, drawings and technical requirements.

Shipyard Operations

Manage ship repair, maintenance, conversion, fabrication or marine construction activities.

Client & Contractor Coordination

Liaise with ship owners, ship managers, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers. Attend project meetings and provide progress updates. Coordinate work permits, inspections and client approvals.

Safety & Compliance

Ensure work is carried out according to Singapore workplace safety requirements and shipyard procedures. Coordinate risk assessments, method statements, toolbox meetings and safety inspections. Ensure workers follow applicable PPE and safe-work requirements.

Quality Control

Monitor workmanship and ensure work complies with approved specifications. Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning and rectification works. Maintain project documentation and quality records.

Cost & Schedule Control

Monitor project costs, manpower and material usage. Track project milestones and prevent delays. Manage variations, additional works and subcontractor performance.

Project Completion

Coordinate final inspection, testing and commissioning. Prepare completion documentation and handover records. Ensure outstanding defects and rectification works are completed.
