Job Summary Lyza Education seeks a full-time Coding Educator to design and deliver technology lessons for students aged 10 to 17, fostering foundational coding skills and creating a positive, productive learning environment. Responsibilities Design and deliver engaging coding and technology lessons for students aged 10 to 17 to build foundational skills Develop and refine teaching materials aligned with curriculum goals to enhance learning outcomes Maintain a safe, supportive, and conducive learning environment that promotes student engagement Build and sustain positive relationships with students and parents to support student progress Stay updated on developments in educational technology and coding education to continuously improve teaching methods Perform additional duties as required to support the centre’s operations and student success Preferred competencies and qualifications Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline; computer science, engineering, mathematics, or science preferred Strong communication skills and passion for teaching children Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Prior teaching or tutoring experience in group or individual settings is an advantage Knowledge of Python, JavaScript (ReactJS), Java, and/or C/C++ is a plus Enthusiasm and willingness to learn; training provided for candidates without direct experience Other Information Benefits Health insurance Schedule 4 weekdays + 1 weekend Work Location Hybrid (Mixture of in-person and remote)
