Backend Development Engineer (M/F)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Development Department, within the VAD Payment team, you will participate in the development of our e-commerce platform and add new payment methods (GooglePay, ApplePay, digital meal vouchers, ...). As a Backend development engineer, your main missions are:

• Analyze exchange protocols with acquirers
• Develop these exchange protocols to create a new Payment Method
• Ensure continuous integration (automated tests)
• Perform production deployment
• Provide business expertise to support teams
• Ensure maintenance

Technical Environment

• Backend: Java, Java EE, Hibernate, SOAP, REST, JBoss, SpringBoot
• Database: MySQL/MariaDB
• Methodology: Agile (Scrum) with the JIRA tool
• Configuration: Git
• Continuous integration: Jenkins 2, GitLab, Nexus, Selenium, Ansible
• Container: Docker
• Monitoring: Kibana

REQUIRED PROFILE:

Ready to take on the challenge? • You have a higher education degree (Master's degree) in computer science,

• You have at least 3 years of experience in Backend development, ideally in the payment ecosystem,
• Furthermore, Java has no secrets from you,
• And of course, you speak English and are able to say something else than "where is Brian?".
