Mechanical Design Engineering Technician CATIA V5 (M/F)

I am looking for one of my clients, a recognized industrial player in the aeronautics sector, for a Mechanical Design Engineering Technician M/F on a CDI basis in Toulouse.

Integrated into the Design Office, you will participate in the design and development of mechanical tooling intended for aeronautical maintenance. You will intervene throughout the entire design cycle, from the analysis of needs to the creation of technical files, within a stimulating technical environment and high value-added projects.

Your missions:

• Participate in technical and budgetary feasibility studies;
• Perform 3D design and 2D drafting;
• Elaborate bills of materials and associated technical files;
• Define and dimension mechanical components;
• Participate in testing and the improvement of developed technical solutions;
• Evaluate workloads, deadlines, and technical objectives;
• Ensure documentary follow-up and traceability of studies;
• Update technical data within the ERP

Your profile: Coming from higher education in mechanical design, mechanical engineering, or industrial drawing, you have a first successful experience in a design office or in industrial mechanical design. You possess solid foundations in mechanics and enjoy evolving in a demanding technical environment. Rigorous, curious, and proactive, you know how to work in a team and contribute actively to the success of projects.

• BAC+2 to BAC+3 education in mechanical design or mechanical engineering;
• Mastery of a CAD software, ideally CATIA V5;
• Experience in the design of mechanical products, special machines, or tooling;
• Knowledge in mechanical dimensioning;
• Technical English allowing for the reading of documentation;
• Mastery of ABAQUS, ADAMS, or an ERP constitutes an asset;
• Experience in aeronautics, lifting equipment, industrial vehicles, or special machines will be appreciated.
