Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (M/F)

I am recruiting for one of my clients, a recognized player in the aeronautics sector, a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (M/F) on a CDI contract in Toulouse.
Within the Design Office, you will take charge of several high-value-added mechanical design projects. As a true technical expert, you will intervene from the analysis of client needs to the industrialization of the developed solutions, guaranteeing the technical feasibility, costs, and deadlines of the projects.
Your missions:
- Perform technical and budgetary feasibility studies for projects;
- Analyze client specifications and technical requirements;
- Participate in preliminary design reviews and technical exchanges with clients;
- Design and develop mechanical solutions adapted to the identified needs;
- Perform sizing calculations and guarantee the feasibility of designs;
- Elaborate assembly drawings, detail drawings, and technical files;
- Manage testing campaigns and evolve designs according to the results obtained;
- Monitor industrialization phases and provide your expertise to internal teams;
- Coordinate exchanges with suppliers and subcontractors involved in the projects;
- Participate in technological monitoring and the continuous improvement of design methods.
Your profile: A graduate of a mechanical engineering school, you have a successful experience of at least 5 years in mechanical design within a demanding industrial environment.
You have developed solid expertise in mechanical product development and are capable of managing technical projects autonomously.

- Engineering degree in Mechanics or equivalent;
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in mechanical design;
- Proficiency in CATIA V5;
- Mastery of mechanical calculations and sizing;
- Professional English, minimum B2 level;
- Proficiency in ABAQUS and/or ADAMS is a real asset;
- Experience in aeronautics, lifting equipment, industrial vehicles, agricultural machinery, or special machines is appreciated.
