Consultancy Assignment - BizTalk DevOps Engineer

Experienced BizTalk DevOps Engineer for a leading Nordic energy company, in an international DevOps team responsible for the operation and further development of the integration platform.

Scope and details Assignment period: June 15, 2026, to December 31, 2026

Location: Stockholm, hybrid. The team is based in Stockholm and you are in the office approximately once a week, but presence is not required. If you do not live in Stockholm, the assignment can be performed remotely from Sweden.

Scope: full-time, approximately 40 hours per week

About the assignment The client is a critical infrastructure actor within energy, and you will become part of an agile, international team of twelve DevOps engineers distributed across four countries. The team works closely together every day and is organized by areas of expertise. The focus of the role is to keep the daily operations in BizTalk running, which involves monitoring the ticketing system and overseeing production and the BizTalk environments.

Your main tasks

• Manage integration solutions in BizTalk
• Develop build and release pipelines for BizTalk applications
• Handle incidents and perform root cause analysis for production systems
• Monitor BizTalk environments
• Perform platform upgrades and patching

Requirements

• Solid knowledge and experience of BizTalk Server administration
• Expertise in BT360
• Familiarity with ITIL-based incident management systems
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps pipelines, Git, YAML, and PowerShell
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server
• Familiarity with Azure Dashboards and Application Insights
• Fluent English in speech and writing

Meritorious

• Swedish in speech and writing
• Previous experience from the energy and utility sector
