Validation & Verification Engineer for Life Science company in Umeå

Reporting to the Global Downstream Supply Chain Excellence Head, you will join the global Supply Chain Excellence team (Implants & Disposables scope) and functionally supervise a BI & Data Specialist.

Your missions will be as follows:

• Maintain, ensure reliability, and evolve the existing BI infrastructure (-25 applications developed in Python);
• Guarantee the stability and consistency of data flows and ETL pipelines between sources (SAP, forecasting tools, BW);
• Develop new dashboards, reportings, and performance KPIs for the supply chain teams;
• Transform operational data into actionable insights for management;
• Support the SAP S/4HANA migration (FIT4 project) by evaluating the impact on the existing analytical ecosystem;
• Collaborate with process owners, IT teams, and business stakeholders;
• Train users and drive the skill development of the BI & Data Specialist.

This position requires as much technical rigor as the ability to communicate and simplify concepts for non-technical business interlocutors.

The position is based in La Rochelle (preferably) or Paris.

In short, you will be the data and analytics pillar of the group's global supply chain.

To thrive and succeed in this position, we will ask you to demonstrate:

• 5 to 8 years of experience in BI, Data Analytics, or Supply Chain Analytics in an international environment;
• A solid understanding of supply chain processes (planning, logistics, inventory, order fulfilment);
• Proficiency in Python (indispensable) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent);
• An understanding of ETL flows, data models, and reporting architectures;
• ERP experience, ideally SAP;
• Fluent English is imperative.
