Senior Purchasing Engineer - Industry (M/F)

A strategic role, at the heart of industrial challenges

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will work on a strategic technical commodity with a key role in product competitiveness.

Your missions:

• Define and drive your purchasing strategy based on total cost of ownership (TCO), quality, and lead times
• Develop sustainable partnership relationships with suppliers
• Participate in co-design processes with R&D and challenge technical choices
• Actively contribute to design-to-cost projects
• Rationalize and improve the performance of the supplier panel
• Work with high transversality with project, industrial, and quality teams

Your profile

• Engineering background
• Proven experience in technical industrial purchasing (ideally 8 to 10 years or more)
• Good understanding of mechanical and industrial environments
• Appetite for cross-functional work and transforming environments
• Recognized for your excellent interpersonal skills, you combine strategic vision, leadership, and negotiation skills. You know how to build lasting partnerships with your suppliers and engage internal stakeholders in your projects.
