Materials Accounting

Record and reconcile all transactions related to inventories and material values in the accounting system.

Review, support, and record transactions for material inflows, outflows, transfers, returns, and adjustments.

Maintain the fixed assets accounting ledger, create fixed asset cards, and record all movements of fixed assets.

Review and reconcile inventory names and codes, working closely with the Procurement team to ensure database integrity and prevent duplicate or incorrect coding.

Monitor inventory balances and identify unusual or inconsistent transactions.

Perform other accounting duties as required.

Monthly and Annual Reconciliations and Controls

Monitor inventory valuation and ensure that material values are recorded in accordance with the company's accounting policy.

Participate in inventory counts, reconcile count results with accounting data, and investigate any discovered discrepancies.

Participate in fixed asset counts, reconcile results, and investigate any existing discrepancies.

Prepare inventory-related reconciliation reports, analytical tables, and management reports.

Support internal and external auditors by providing necessary documentation and explanations regarding inventories.

Internal Control

Ensure that all processed accounting transactions comply with the company's internal control policies and applicable legal requirements.
