IT Manager

Your tasks

The IT Manager leads the coordinated operation of IT service delivery, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operational technology systems, ensuring stable, secure, and efficient technological support for employees and corporate functions. They are responsible for maintaining high availability of critical IT and operational technology systems and aligning technological services with business requirements and corporate standards.

The IT Manager oversees maintenance, infrastructure, network and security, cloud platforms, and digital mine systems, while simultaneously managing the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and ensuring the management of data governance and technological controls. The role also supports effective decision-making by monitoring technological risks, compliance, and service performance.

Working closely with site leadership, corporate technology teams, and external vendors, the IT Manager ensures leadership in strengthening service delivery, maintaining governance discipline, and continuous improvement of technological capabilities at Lydian Armenia.

• Lead daily IT operations, including maintenance, infrastructure, network, cybersecurity, and IT-related operational technology support.
• Ensure that incidents and service requests are resolved within agreed service level frameworks and promote continuous service improvement.
• Maintain the availability, efficiency, integrity, and lifecycle management of IT systems, networks, server room infrastructure, cloud platforms, and end-user devices.
• Manage hybrid cloud environments, including Azure and Microsoft 365, and maintain key technological standards and registries.
• Ensure system patching, upgrades, endpoint protection, and other key operational security controls.
• Manage and maintain the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and implement cybersecurity controls in accordance with ISO 27001 principles.
• Implement access management, data protection, and security management controls.
• Support the secure operation of operational technology systems by overseeing IT-side operational technology architecture, updates, antivirus protection, and reviews of key security controls.
• Lead and implement IT and technological improvement projects in accordance with site and business priorities.
• Participate in audits, risk assessments, incident response, and IT and information security risk management.
• Manage IT vendors, service providers, contracts, third-party security requirements, and technological procurement within defined authorities.
• Oversee the IT budget and ensure cost-effective delivery of technological services.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the site IT team.
• Act as the primary liaison between site operations, corporate technology teams, vendors, and the IT leadership committee.
• Support data governance and maintain IT, operational technology, and digital policies, procedures, registries, and other relevant documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• At least 7+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership position.
• Experience in mining, industrial, or other operational environments is preferred.
• Deep knowledge regarding IT infrastructure, networks, servers, cloud platforms, and end-user systems.
• Familiarity with operational technologies, SCADA, or industrial control systems is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies, including Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Knowledge of IT service management, cybersecurity frameworks, and information security practices.
• Understanding of IT governance, data protection, and information lifecycle management.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience in project implementation and vendor management.
• English proficiency is mandatory.
