Horticultural Manager

Your tasks

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Horticultural Manager to oversee and manage horticultural operations and landscape maintenance. The successful candidate will lead a team to ensure a high standard of greenery, sustainability, and aesthetic quality across the assigned site.

1. Plan / Design and manage landscape maintenance services and projects.
2. Manage the operation by executing groundwork and paperwork.

a.) Including safety procedures (e.g., plant propagation, pest & weed control, grass turfing & maintenance, tree transplantation, tree pruning & cutting, landscape implementation). b.) Ensure the proper documentation on the operation is submitted to the office on time.

1. Source for the prices of plants and other materials and doing the coordination of delivery to the site.
2. Quotation preparation for the projects assigned (Tendering & Quotations)
3. Attending site meetings and arranging coordination with sub-contractors.
4. Provide and submit reports (internal- office & external –clients)
5. Prepare orders for various types of plants.
6. Provides professional advice on the selection, planting, and upkeep of plants.
7. Plans and attends regular meetings with clients.
8. Other duties that may be assigned are relevant to your position as Horticulturist / Arborist as and when required and/or necessary. Oversee and arrange landscaping works on site

Requirements

1. Diploma or Degree in Horticulture, Landscape Management, Agriculture, or related field.

1. Minimum of 3 – 5 years of relevant experience

1. Strong knowledge of plants and soil management

1. Ability to work outdoors on site

1. Familiarity with Singapore landscape standards is an advantage
