Senior FF&E Technical Office Engineer
Location: 6th of October City, Giza, or Alexandria, Egypt Employment Type: Full-time | On-site Required Experience: 3–6 years Luxury Hospitality is seeking a talented Senior FF&E Technical Office Engineer to join our team and contribute to prestigious hospitality projects. ???? Key Responsibilities Review furniture shop drawings, technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
Ensure all FF&E technical submissions meet design intent, quality standards, and project requirements.
Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors regarding technical details, materials, production schedules, and deliveries.
Review and approve materials, samples, finishes, and mock-ups.
Prepare technical and commercial comparisons while maintaining quality and budget requirements.
Collaborate with procurement, design, and project teams to source compliant FF&E items.
Identify technical discrepancies and recommend practical, cost-effective solutions.
Prepare and monitor snag/punch lists and follow up until all issues are resolved.
Maintain accurate records of drawings, submittals, approvals, project files, and vendor communications.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and project deadlines.
???? Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts, Fine Arts, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related engineering discipline.
3–6 years of relevant experience in FF&E, interior fit-out, or hospitality projects.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office , particularly Excel and Word.
Proven ability to prepare, review, and interpret furniture shop drawings and technical drawings.
Strong knowledge of furniture materials, finishes, specifications, and manufacturing processes.
Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory.
Excellent attention to detail, technical writing, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage priorities, collaborate effectively, and meet demanding project deadlines.
Residence in or near 6th of October City or Alexandria is preferred.
