Your role
In your role as Production Geologist, you are responsible for the daily geological monitoring within the production operations. The role ensures that geological models, extraction processes, and ore-related decisions are based on correct and up-to-date information. The Production Geologist acts as a central link between geology, rock mechanics, production, and planning to optimize ore extraction, safety, and resource utilization.
Your main tasks:
Conduct daily geological observations, mapping, and documentation. Assess ore geometry, structures, and quality variations. Collect, quality assure, and analyze geological data from drilling and sampling. Contribute geological data to production and planning. Identify and report geological risks as well as support safety and rock mechanics work. Participate in safety reviews and incident investigations. Prepare reports and communicate geological conditions internally. Ensure good information transfer between shifts and departments.

B-driver's license for manual transmission (requirement) Bachelor's or Master's degree in geology/geoscience (requirement) Good computer skills (requirement) Good knowledge of English is a requirement, Swedish is a merit Previous experience in drill core mapping/underground mapping is a merit Previous experience of underground work is a merit Previous experience of working with deswik/acquire is a merit
